Frequently Ask Questions...
Q: What is Metaphysics?
A: Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy
that studies the ultimate reality beyond the physical realm, and is
generally concerned with asking the questions, "What is the nature
of being?" "What is the nature of the universe?" and "How do
we know what we know?". In its broadest sense the study of
metaphysics explores areas which are considered to be above and
beyond the physical sciences.
Q. What is Quantum Physics?
A: Quantum Physics is the branch of physics
which studies the energetic characteristics of matter at the
subatomic level.
Q: What is our Multidimensional Self?
A:
Refers to the total spectrum of human energies, ie., physical,
etheric, astral, mental, causal and higher spiritual levels.
Q:
What is holistic medicine?
A:
Holistic medicine is the art and science of healing that addresses
care of the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. The practice of
holistic medicine integrates conventional and complementary
therapies to promote optimal health, and prevent and treat disease
by addressing contributing factors. In practice, this means that
each person is seen as a unique individual, rather than an example
of a particular disease. Disease is understood to be the result of
physical, emotional, spiritual, social and environmental imbalance.
Healing, therefore, takes place naturally when these aspects of life
are brought into proper balance. The role of the practitioner is as
guide, mentor and role model; the patient must do the work -
changing lifestyle, beliefs and old habits in order to facilitate
healing. All appropriate methods may be used, from medication to
meditation.
Q: What is vibrational medicine?
A:
Vibrational medicine uses specialized forms of energy to positively
affect those energetic systems that may be out of balance due to
disease states. By rebalancing the energy fields that help to
regulate cellular physiology, vibrational healers attempt to restore
order from a higher level of human functioning.
The recognition that all matter is energy forms the foundation for
understanding how human beings can be considered dynamic energetic
systems. Albert Einstein famous equation E = mc2 proved to
scientists that energy and matter are dual expressions of the same
universal substance.
Q: What is meant by "complementary and alternative therapies"?
A:
Complementary and alternative therapies are those not yet considered
mainstream and, therefore, not normally offered by conventional
medical providers. "Complementary medicine" refers to use of
The list of what is considered complementary and alternative therapy
is constantly changing as more research becomes available. As they
demonstrate efficacy and safety, these therapies become part of
conventional medicine.
Q: What is the Mind?
A:
When we refer to our mind we are referring to our "mental self" a
higher vibration of our "physical self". There are three levels of
Mind. The "Instinctive Mind", the Intellectual Mind" and the
"Spiritual Mind".
Q: What is subtle energy?
A:
A general term denoting energy that often exists outside the
ordinary or positive space/time frame, ie. magnetoelectric (ME)
energy which is faster than light.
Q:
What is our subtle body?
A:
A term referring to any of the subtle-energy bodies which exist in
the frequency octaves beyond the physical, ie. the etheric, astral,
mental and causal bodies
Q: What is our chakra system?
A:
Our chakra system is special energy centers which exist within our
subtle bodies. These energy centers, referred to as "chakras," from
the Sanskrit meaning "wheels" are said to resemble whirling
vortices of suble energies. The chakras are somehow involved in
taking in higher energies and transmuting them to a utilizable form
within the human structure.
Q: What is Wellness?
A:
Wellness can be defined as a state where you function at an optimal
level of integration between the elements of body, mind and spirit.
The well individual is one who is happy, healthy, and whole, and who
perceives his or her life as one with meaning and purpose.
Q: What is stress?
A:
It is important to understand what stress really is. Sometimes
stress comes from painful circumstances, like illness or loss of
someone dear, that only time can heal. But there are loads of other
potential stress triggers, from unpaid mortgages to difficult
relationships or health problems, that you
can
do something about. These circumstances themselves do
not
create stress. Rather the stress results from how you respond to
them. "Stress comes from wishing something were different and the
worry that you cannot change it, which leads you to feel stuck.
Therefore, stress is in the eyes of the beholder. That is, the
stress reaction is based upon the individual's perception of some
type of threat to their personal well-being. The threat may be
something which is either consciously or unconsciously perceived as
threatening.
Q: What is thought?
A:
Our thoughts are a form of energy. Our beliefs reflect our thoughts.
Our beliefs about ourselves often create actual physical changes in
our bodies. Healthy positive thoughts based on love, create health;
Unhealthy negative thoughts based on fear, increase risk of disease.
Q: What is bioenergetics?
A: Any type of electrical, electromagnetic, or subtle energetic forces which are generated from living organisms.
Q: What is Energy (Vibrational) Medicine?
A: That healing philosophy which aims to treat the whole person, i.e., the mind/body/spirit complex, by delivering measured quanta of frequency-specific energy to the human multidimensional system. Vibrational medicine seeks to heal the physical body by integrating and balancing the higher energetic systems which create the physical/cellular patterns of manifestation.
